    Good to know

    • The boat goes back on Friday. In the Split marina between 15:00 and 18:00 with full fuel and water tanks, off the boat by 08:30 on Saturday. Late costs a day's charter rate.
    • Fuel in Milna, not Split. The Split fuel dock queues up with every charter boat on a Friday afternoon. Komiža and Stari Grad have no fuel at all.
    • Water: a 38-foot Lagoon carries about 300 litres as standard (500 with the optional tank on the newer model). That is about two days of showers for four. Top up in Komiža and on the Stari Grad quay, swim first and rinse short. Worth asking the base which tank we have.
    • October: sea about 20 to 21 °C, sunset around 18:15. Most island restaurants and beach bars close for the season, Hvar and Korčula towns stay awake.
    • Wind decides. Bora (NE) is cold, gusty and clear. Jugo (SE) is warm, brings swell and rain. Check the DHMZ Adriatic forecast every morning. Rule for Vis: go only if there is no bora or jugo warning for the day out and the day back.

      Prices on the stops are per night for the whole boat, with each person's share underneath. Catamarans pay 1.5 to 2 times a monohull, and tourist tax comes on top. Call ahead, and trust the harbour master over this page.
